Protects
birds from collisions with overhead power lines and
communications towers better than past technology. Our
new FireFly incorporates motion, reflectivity, and light
emissions to alert the birds of an upcoming obstruction.
The product
is manufactured with a unique new concept called “Moon
Shine TM ”. With “Moon” glow-in-the-dark light, combined
with a highly reflective daylight “Shine” system, this
diverter/flapper swivels and rotates in 3-5 mph wind
conditions, increasing visibility to migrating birds and
bats.
Each FireFly
utilizes 3-in-1 combination of fluorescent colors
designed specifically for avian vision.
Each FireFly
can easily be installed from the ground with an
installation tool or while power lines are live by hot
stick. The FireFly is easy to remove and install when
bird activity changes with the season. Our unique
mounting bracket allows 45-degree angle installation for
communication tower and power line guy wires - reducing
bird and bat collisions.
