Powerline & Aerial Tower Markers

Applications

Fiberglass vs. P&R Technologies ABS

In today's world, you can always find company's willing to sell you a lesser quality, poorly designed product for less money.  Our competition often states their fiberglass power line markers  retain their color as well as our superior polymer markers, that their attachment method holds the marker firmly to the line, and that their markers have not fallen off the line.

APPLICATION - LIGHTED MARKERS

Neon gas filled glass tubes can light up if one end of the tube is tied to the energized power line and the other end is tied to enough conducting surface so that there is a capacitive effect to ground...

APPLICATION - Power Line Markers

In the 1950s the first power line markers were introduced. They were made of fiberglass, were cone shaped, and hung from the line with clamps.

FAA Advisory - Catenary Markers and Lighting

Catenary refers to the power line itself. Spherical markers are the preferred choice of the FAA so that pilots of aircraft can see the markers from all angles.
