SpanMARK

SpanMARK Utility Line Marking systems improve line inspection techniques from helicopters and from the ground.  Large durable lettering and numbering assemblies insure easy surveillance.  Warning flags, blank or printed, are available at low cost.

Wide Variety

SpanMARK flags, number systems and warning signs are available in a wide variety of characters to meet the needs of utilities.  The rugged snapFAST clamp is built for a long, trouble free life, made of weather resisting ABS Makrolon plastic.  The SnapFAST clamp gives a firm grip to the lines without slipping.  The SpanMARK unit can be easily installed and removed using the SpanMARK tool.

SnapFAST Clamp

A patented SnapFAST stainless steel spring loaded clamp supports the signs and is easily mounted on the line with a unique tool, mounted on standard hot sticks.  The signs and flags can be installed on hot lines.

Made from weather-resistant ABS-Makrolon with a stainless-steel spring action, "SnapFAST" clamps securely grip all single or bundled cables up to a diameter of 70mm.  Using the special "SpanTOOL" installation tool fitted to a suitable inulating pole these signs can be installed and removed from the ground without cutting the power.

Versatile

SpanMARK systems can be mounted on lines up to 2-3/4" in diameter.  Flags come in yellow, red or orange colors, 13-3/8" x 11-1/2".  Signs come already inscribed or with frames for one, two, three or four numbers, field adjustable, slip-in numbers.  Numbers can be 1", 2", 3", 4", 5", or 6" high, vertical or horizontal.  Frames and numbering systems are also available for poles and towers.

Flags

Flags are available in yellow, orange and red; blank or lettered; one side or two.  Flags are 13-3/8" x 11-1/2".

Signs

The signs are made from 2mm plastic laminate, clearly engraved on both sides, black on yellow or aluminum painted black on yellow and securely riveted to the patented "SnapFAST" fitting.  Numbers 1 - 9 and Danger High Voltage are stock items.  Other texts and sizes may be supplied to order.

Powerplate Signs

Powerplate signs are available with slide-in letters an/or numbers 1", 2", 3", 4", 5", and 6" high, pre-assembled or field assembled.
