II-Tracker of Portland, OR. a division of P&R Technologies offers the latest in unmanned, non-lethal, robotic vehicles, SPIKE.

Capable of performing numerous tasks too dangerous, tedious, or complicated for personnel, SPIKE can climb stairs, travel through doorways, and traverse rugged, off-road terrain, while carrying up to 300Ibs. of equipment.

Current options include thermal imaging/infrared cameras, robotic arms/ manipulators, video transmission, water disrupters, communications packages, and more.

The Spike vehicle was developed to perform various tasks too tedious or dangerous for personnel. Primary uses include:

• Military forward scout, communications relay.

• Emergency Response to hostage, terrorist, or bomb threats.

• Industrial Inspection - pipeline etc.

• HAZMAT inspection, removal, sensor transport.

• Security surveillance patrol - perimeter sentry.

• Fire fighting.

• High Speeds of 0 - 20 mph allows operators to quickly get in and out of delicate and/or dangerous situations.

• Non-tethered remote control allows much more freedom of movement. By removing the "umbilical cord" from UGV's, operators can operate much more efficiently and effectively.

• Rugged Design makes Spike very durable and capable of operating in rugged terrain while carrying significant amounts of equipment.

• Hydrostatic drive, track driven operation allows vehicle to climb AND descend stairs, traverse soft and/or rugged terrain. The hydrostatic drive is very predictable and allows GPB based navigational systems to be utilized. The predictability of track driven vehicles allows for navigational software to be implemented and utilized very accurately.
